Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 4 June 2026
1. Who we are
SifuChef (the “Service”) is operated by SifuChef (“we”, “us”, “our”). When you use the Service you are contracting with SifuChef.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
3. The Service
SifuChef is a workspace for private chefs and boutique caterers to manage client inquiries, recipes, ingredient costing, and event proposals. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your kitchen business within the plan you have selected.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- send spam or unsolicited communications;
- infringe any intellectual property or other rights;
- attempt to probe, scan, scrape, or interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, or upload malware;
- resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or circumvent technical limits.
5. Your account and content
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You retain ownership of the content you upload (menus, recipes, client data); you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is and remains our property. No rights are granted to you except as expressly set out in these Terms.
7. Fees, billing, and Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Subscription terms, taxes, renewals, cancellations, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
8. Service availability
We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may cancel your subscription at any time via paddle.net or by contacting us.
10. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where it cannot be excluded by law.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the seller’s jurisdiction. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email.
14. Contact
